This was such a momentous trip for Elena Bazini Photography, and there were a lot of firsts. First international wedding. First time swimming in a pool with my camera. First time I was able to walk back home along the beach after a job was over. But this didn’t really feel like a job. That’s because Michelle and Ryan went out of their way to make us feel like part of the group. (And this would be the group to be in!) Michelle and Ryan brought two handfuls of their closest friends and family to the Caribbean Island of Anguilla to celebrate their wedding. That’s two planes and one ferry from Chicago, and a world away. The wedding took place at the super-luxurious Viceroy Anguilla, and we were lucky enough to be along for the ride. From getting ready in their private villa, to a stunning sunset ceremony, to dancing and drinks at the Pump House and back to the villa pool til …– this was probably the most fun I’ve ever had photographing a wedding.
