I love a good city wedding, and we do so many in beautiful downtown Chicago. But there is one place a little out of town that I always jump at the chance photograph and that’s the historic Armour House at Lake Forest Academy. For starters, the place is straight out of a fairytale! You can hardly believe you’re in Illinois, let alone at a high school. (Talk about some lucky students!) Not only is this building stunning but it sits on a beautiful piece of land meticulously cared for by the staff. Perhaps best of all, this venue always attracts a sweet and fun couple looking to celebrate in style. Kathleen and Jamey fit that bill completely, especially the fun part. This bride and groom had us laughing all day long, and really made us feel like part of the group. I absolutely loved this day, with modern and elegant details that fit perfectly at the Armour House. Congratulations again to Kathleen and Jamey! I hope you enjoy reliving this wonderful day through our photos.
