Sometimes this job really blows me away.  I always manage to meet wonderful people, and hey, I get to do what I love for a living.  I love documenting a super special time in my client’s lives, and I *love* when clients put a personal touch on their photos.

You could say Brienne & Manny made sure their engagement shoot reflected their story.  The city of Boston is special to these two because it’s where they first met.  It was 10 years ago that Manny was tending bar at the famous Union Oyster House, and Brienne walked in and ordered a dreamsicle.  So, in February, they made the drive from New Jersey, and I flew from Chicago.  We strolled the streets of Boston, hit some of their old haunts, cheated death, and even got kicked out of a fancy hotel.  Don’t believe me!?  Scroll down for all the Boston fun.  Congratulations and *thank you* to Manny & Bri.  I cannot wait for your wedding later this year!

Our first stop was the Public Garden, followed by a tour of the Beacon Hill neighborhood, and then we grabbed a drink at the Union Oyster House to recreate their first meeting.  Manny made a rose out of a napkin that Brienne has kept to this day!  She even brought it (in a ziplock) to our engagement shoot.  How sweet are these two!?

Thanks again to Brienne & Manny for making me a part of your love story in Boston.  I had an awesome time, and got a killer calf workout in Beacon Hill. 😉  So looking forward to celebrating with you in October!
