Well guys, this was a fun one! It turns out the way to my heart is through requesting a night engagement session in downtown Chicago, and bringing your dog. I had not met Lisa and Steven before their shoot, and I was lucky enough to meet them at their beautiful downtown Chicago home. We walked across the street to Lake Michigan for some photos with their adorable rescue pup, Lexi.
From there we made our way to the Chicago River, where we soaked in the golden hour by the water. It was fun exploring the different views of Chicago’s historic bridges, and these two danced and laughed with a gorgeous sunset as their backdrop.
When in Chicago, why not hit the bright lights of State Street?
We ended our night back along the Chicago riverfront. I loved watching the lights come on in the city with these two. It turns out my favorite shade of sky is just about the color of Lisa’s stylish dress. 
Thanks to Lisa and Steven for a wonderful evening. I’m so looking forward to your wedding in May and reception in July.
