Rikki and Mark’s Chicago Athletic Association Wedding was the kind of event I feel truly feel lucky to have been a part of.  Beyond it being a perfect summer day in Chicago, and beyond their wedding taking place at a picturesque and historic venue, and beyond Rikki and Mark being a gorgeous couple- this day was filled beautiful moments and authentic joy.

I’ve had a soft spot for these two ever since they brought me coffee at their engagement shoot. If you know me at all, you know coffee is the fastest route to my heart.  Their kindness and thoughtfulness clearly doesn’t just extend to me. And that was evident as we met all their family and friends throughout their wedding day.  These two mean so much to so many people.  That was abundantly clear from the heartfelt speeches, the way their friends and family looked at them, all the easy laughter and the fact that there wasn’t a dry eye in the place.

Thank you to Rikki and Mark for including David and I in your wedding day.  This was a special one for us.  We hope you enjoy reliving it for years to come through the photographs.  And hey, if you ever want to get a drink and talk about Japan let us know!! xo- Elena
