Marcy and Sean have introduced me to a lot of new things. They were the first clients to say yes to my (crazy?) idea of shooting in an abandoned silo system on the south side. That same day, Sean gave me my first ride on a motorcycle. (Even if it was for only for several seconds, it counts!) Needless to say these two don’t shy away from adventure. They take life by the handlebars and enjoy the ride. Their engagement shoot was so memorable for me, that I was of course looking forward to their wedding day. Not only was it clear that these two would make a gorgeous bride and groom, but they would again introduce me to something new, in the form of their unique wedding venue Cité.
Sitting on the 70th floor of Lake Point Tower, this place has the most epic view of Chicago that I have ever seen. Though the heights were somewhat dizzying at first, this was a breathtaking backdrop for a celebration. And these two don’t shy away from an adventure or a party. Thanks so much to Marcy & Sean for making me a part of this time in your lives. From the engagement photos, to your beautiful Cité Chicago wedding day- you’ve taken me on this adventure along with you. It was a joy to see all the love that surrounds you two.
