A lot has happened since I was in college, but I’m thankful to still have a great group of college girlfriends who still get together almost every year. What started out as yearly reunions to different cities, became trips to each other’s weddings. Then to each other’s baby showers, and now naming ceremonies! It has been a wonderful thing to see all of these girls grow and start their families. Even if some of us just still have fur babies! 😉
It was a pleasure traveling to Los Angeles to meet JoAnna’s little bundle of joy, and to photograph her naming ceremony at the UCLA Sculpture Garden. I was so glad we also got to spend a relaxing weekend with the new mom in La Jolla. The seafood and the massage did me good! Not to mention this California sunshine, which was such a welcome change of pace from the dreary start to spring we’re getting in Chicago.
Wishing this family all the best in their new adventure, and sending lots of love to you the west coast!
