It’s fall in Chicago and that means tons of engagement shoots and, of course, fall weddings! It is always a super busy time of year, and for that I am so grateful. It also means that I spend a lot of time in front of this here computer, pretty much most days I’m not shooting. That’s why it was extra special to leave this desktop behind, put on a good playlist, and make the drive to Michigan for Katie and Jon’s Michigan fall engagement session. I knew this time of year would be extra pretty in the Great Lakes state, but I didn’t know it would be quite this magical!
I loved spending this evening with Katie and Jon, their three pups, and of course their horse Bill. This was the first incorporation of a horse into an engagement session for me, and I must say I’d like to make it my newest niche! We are so thrilled to be ringing in the new year with these two at the Palmer House in Chicago. Enjoy a look at their romantic and fun session through their property and a neighboring apple orchard!
