Neha and Eric’s wedding celebration spanned three days…and two states! To witness so much laughter, a few tears, and so much love, was a truly rewarding experience. Puerto Rican flowers, a latin Jazz Band, and flan for dessert were just a few of the ways Neha and Erica worked to incorporate Filipino and Puerto Rican elements into a traditional Indian wedding celebration. Check out this beautiful coming together of families and cultures that we were lucky enough to photograph back in May.
We started in Indiana at the bride’s parents’ home for pre-wedding blessings and mendhi.
Friday night we made our way to Burr Ridge, IL for the Garba and Sangeet, where friends and family toasted and performed for the bride and groom.
Saturday was our third day with this wonderful group. What had previously been forecasted as a rainy day turned out to be beautiful. We photographed an emotional first look, followed by a high energy Baraat in a classic Ford Mustang.
A ceremony with surprises, laughter, and tears had us all wrapped up in the emotions. It was a truly lively event!
The party continues into the evening with a glamorous reception. Keep scrolling for one amazing dancefloor!
Thank you to Neha and Eric for allowing us to capture such a memorable weekend for you. We wish you all the happiness you can hold.
