Kate and John’s wedding was one of the highlights of our year. Through the most serendipitous stroke of luck, I was able to reconnect with Kate, my childhood friend, when she inquired about her wedding in Chicago. Kate was a close friend of mine from middle school, and we had lost touch for several years. Kate and John feel like old friends because, well, they are. But they are also warm and inviting, and easy to love. Their wedding was more than a highlight of my year because we have found new and old friends in both of them. Thanks to Kate and John for making David and I a part of this wonderful day. I don’t think I could have imagined a more perfect wedding day if I tried.
