Maria and Francesco met through mutual friends while vacationing in Sardinia. Maria remembers saying yes to his proposal before he could even finish the question. These two traveled from their home in Italy for a big, fun American wedding in Chicago. And we were thrilled to be a part of it! Their ceremony, held at a beautiful cathedral in Hyde Park, was followed by an Italian dinner and dancing at Spiaggia. It was a classic and multi-lingual affair–marking the first time we photographed a wedding with a translator! Maria and Francesco celebrated with a particularly funny and warm group of friends and family surrounding them. The bride’s family even performed a song in their honor! Enjoy!
