This was one of those rare occasions where I met my bride and groom on the morning of their wedding. Their lovely wedding planner, Kristy from LOLA Event Productions, had made our email introduction. And we had a brief phone call in advance of the big day. As soon as I entered Christine’s hotel room, I heard her infectious laughter and I knew this was going to be a fun day. I mean, how could a bride and groom that planned a Violet Hour Chicago wedding in Wicker Park not be the coolest bride and groom ever? There were so many wonderful moments on this special occasion but a few stick out to me. The way the Christine’s bridesmaids teared up when they saw her in her wedding gown was so sweet. The shoe game organized by their friends was hilarious. And this father daughter dance got the waterworks flowing in the room, myself included! Thank you North and Christine for sharing your day with us. We loved capturing these moments and so many more. Congratulations!
Also, I always love a great cake eating photo and cannot resist a bride doing a shot. These are two more of my favorite photos from this day. Chicago is a good eating and drinking town after all!
