Lisa and Steve’s wedding had romance written all over it. Having a private event that focused on the two of them was a top priority. I’d say they pulled it off with a gathering of their 20 closest friends and family at the luxurious Waldorf Astoria in Chicago. Lisa and Steve met when he acted as her real estate agent. They looked at a few properties, and really hit it off. Lisa remembers pretending like she didn’t know which apartment to choose, resulting in a get-together with Steve to discuss her options. The dinner turned into a 3 hour conversation, and a parking violation for Steve. A week later Lisa signed the paperwork on her new apartment, and asked Steve out as well. They were later engaged at the Waldorf Astoria, so it was fitting to have their private wedding ceremony held there. The wedding day was the Thursday before Memorial Day Weekend, and the weather was a dream. I felt truly honored to be a part of such a close group gathered to celebrate this couple, and I am looking forward to capturing their larger reception later this summer.
