This Bridgeport Art Center Chicago wedding will take your breath away. I love nothing more than a unique twist on weddings, and Austin & Sawyer’s lush and glamorous Bohemian soirée was like nothing I’ve ever seen before. The jaw-dropping decor and floral by Revel will leave you speechless! And when you find yourself tagging a cotton candy spinner and a fortune teller in the credits and the end of a blog post, you know you’ve really made it! 😉
Austin & Sawyer are a special couple, and I feel very lucky to have been a part of this wedding day. I go to dozens of weddings in a year, and if I can be so honest, not every bride and groom let themselves feel the emotions of the day. That cannot be said about these two, and it was beautiful and refreshing to see (and feel!) all the love that surrounds them and exists between them. Their first look will go down as probably my favorite of my career. Austin (talented member of The Way Down Wanderers, check them out!) played Sawyer a beautiful song on the guitar as part of their moment alone, and I don’t think there was a dry eye in the room.
Thank you to Austin and Sawyer, and their wonderful family and friends, for making us a part of such a joyful, beautiful, and fun occasion. I count myself very luck to have been part of such a perfect event. And on such a dream team of Chicago wedding vendors. We wish you so much love. Enjoy the pictures!

About the Bridgeport Art Center:
This venue has always been a favorite of mine! Between the two unique spaces, the Skyline Loft (pictured above) and the Sculpture Garden (pictured in a separate post here), there are so many amazing opportunities for photos, guest experiences, and unique personal touches with decor. The Art Center itself was established in 2001 in what was formerly the Spiegel Catalog Warehouse. Beyond hosting weddings, the Bridgeport Art Center has five floors of studios for artists in residence. The 500,000 square foot space also offers classes, open studio nights, and gallery spaces that showcase a wide range of art work from talented Chicago artists.
